An extraordinary career in Montreal, Spain and China Resources

1890 - 1939

In this year of homage to Norman Bethune (2008-2009), the City of Montreal and its partners (Concordia University, the McCord Museum, the Centre d'histoire de Montréal, La Fondation Aubin and Tourisme Montréal among them) are reviving the memory of a man revered as a national hero in China and whose life and deeds have been commemorated recently in Spain. La Fondation Aubin is organizing a number of activities to mark the anniversary of Bethune's arrival in Montreal (1928) and that of his death (November 1939) in China.
